Human Resources Specialist (Elk Grove Village, IL)

Works together with senior management to prepare and/or develop Quality Builders of Midwest, Inc.’s (“QBM”) human resources strategy; formulates and administers HR policies, procedures, and standards to support QBM’s strategic goals and objectives; prepares and/or maintains employment records; develops and administers an effective performance management system; team ups with hiring-firing authorities and processes related paperwork; interviews applicants regarding their education, experience, and other qualifications; recommends changes in benefits for employee satisfaction and retention; reviews QBM’s contracts to determine actions required to meet governmental equal opportunity provisions and related guidelines and laws; addresses employee relations issues; confers with senior management to develop and implement personnel policies or procedures; organizes new employee orientations; consults with the legal counsel as needed to resolve difficult legal compliance issues; leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements; serves as the primary contact with employment law attorney and outside government agencies; collects and review employment applications and job orders to match applicants with minimum job requirements;
